Learn to Partner Dance IN A DAY!

Yup, that’s right. We’re setting ourselves the task of teaching _anyone_ to partner dance in ONE day.

Never done any dancing before? No dramas!
Two left feet? No dramas!
Done a little bit of dancing here and there but didn’t get it? No dramas!

Bryce and Relle bring you the “learn to partner dance in a day” workshop on Sunday the 14th April.

Class format:
10.30am – 12pm: Side by Side Charleston.
Start the day learning one of the signature styles of swing dancing. Grab your partner for a bit of fun and exercise to warm up your muscles.

Lunch Break

1pm – 3pm: Lindy Hop
Use your Charleston skills to smoothly transition to the classic Swingout that sets swing dancing apart from all other dances.

Cost: $50
Venue: Southern Tasmanian Badminton Centre, 101 Cascade Road, South Hobart.
What to wear: comfortable clothing and shoes!
What to bring: A full water bottle or two! No need to bring a partner.

Relay for Life

Last weekend, we (along with our friends from TasSwing) had the absolute pleasure to be involved with the entertainment for Relay for Life. Unfortunately the rain was so heavy we didn’t get to perform our “History of Swing” but that didn’t stop the Relay – they went on to raise over $320,000 that will go towards research at the Cancer Council.

For our “efforts”, of standing in the rain, we got this awesome certificate. :)
